The games, learning apps, and Belt Test Tracker were all designed
because of my children. Some solve needs that grew directly from
their interests. Others exist because I want them to understand
that when something useful does not exist, they do not have to
wait for someone else to make it. They can learn what they need,
find a way, and build it.
Billwright and ComplyBinder began with needs in my own work. Once
they proved useful, I refined and polished them so other people
would not have to start from scratch. When the right tool is not
available, we make it—and when it makes sense, we make it
available so you do not have to.
As my children grow, that lesson will extend from software into
our shop. Every project, customer relationship, business
transaction, success, mistake, and setback becomes an opportunity
to teach them that we keep learning, building, and moving
forward. No matter what speed bumps appear, your word still means
something. You stay with the problem, find a way through it, and
deliver a product or service that does more than meet what you
promised—it exceeds it.
