01 Electrical controls
Nicamco designs, builds, modifies, and troubleshoots control systems for new and existing equipment. Our capabilities include control panels, PLC and HMI programming, relays, contactors, sensors, heaters and temperature controls, motor starters, variable frequency drives, safety interlocks, process instrumentation, and field wiring. Each system is built for dependable operation, clear operator control, and straightforward maintenance.
02 Troubleshooting & repair
We follow the symptom across electrical, mechanical, process, and software layers until the actual cause is understood. This includes tracing power and signals, testing components, reviewing control sequences, inspecting mechanical operation, and evaluating material flow, temperature, pressure, and timing. The goal is to correct the real problem, restore reliable operation, and avoid replacing parts that were never at fault.
03 Thermoplastics equipment
Nicamco specializes in laboratory and production equipment used throughout thermoplastics processing. We support compounders, extruders, injection molding machines, pneumatic conveying systems, belt conveyors, vibratory dusting systems, positive displacement blowers, airlocks, diverters, cyclone bins, dust collection systems, ribbon blenders, high intensity mixers, silos, baghouses, and related auxiliary and downstream equipment. Our experience allows us to evaluate the entire process instead of treating each machine as an isolated system.
04 Custom parts & fixtures
When the correct component cannot be ordered, we design and produce practical replacements and custom solutions. Capabilities include manual and CNC milling, turning, fabrication, 3D printing, and precision fitting. We build one off components, guards, mounts, brackets, adapters, shafts, fixtures, jigs, and repair parts from existing samples, drawings, measurements, or a clear description of what the part needs to accomplish.
05 Controls modernization
Older equipment can remain productive long after its original controls become obsolete or difficult to support. We convert manual controls to electronic operation, add automation where it provides real value, and selectively replace outdated PLCs, HMIs, drives, relays, temperature controls, instruments, and wiring while preserving the parts of the machine that still perform well. The result is improved reliability, easier maintenance, better component availability, and modern control without an unnecessary complete rebuild.
06 Process focused design
Every solution is designed around how the equipment and process are actually used. We consider operator workflow, material movement, maintenance access, cleaning, changeovers, repeatability, safety, and future expansion from the beginning. The final solution may combine electrical controls, software, machined components, fabrication, and process changes to create a system that is practical to operate, maintain, and improve.
